After many requests I’ve finally got round to printing a set of 5 greeting cards based on some of my print designs.
Hand printed onto a natural white 250gsm art stock. The colour is a very dark pearlescent grey/black, I use high quality, nontoxic, water based ink, so they are environmentally friendly.
The cards measure 5” x 5″, each are initialed and are blank inside, come with a matching envelope and are enclosed in a clear cellophane sleeve for protection.
The set of 5 cards includes:
1 x Captains Log design.
1 x Convention design.
1 x Homeless Trooper design.
1 x Alert design.
1 x Disguise design.
A couple of weeks ago I was given the opportunity to hold an exhibition of my screen prints in the DaDa bar a very cool music/pub in the centre of Sheffield. The exhibition will be up until Sunday 4th August 2013, so if your in the area and haven’t seen my work before check it out!
This month saw the culmination of a joint project between members of the Leicester Print Workshop and SevenFive Productions. The project was designed as an opportunity for cross pollination, skills sharing and creative collaboration between filmmakers and printmakers. There was a premier at the Phoenix Cinema in Leicester – an exhibition and screening of work produced by LPW printmakers and local filmmakers working in collaboration.
I was paired with film maker Thomas Tyrrell. We decided to make a promo video of sorts showing my working process from sketching the idea through to final print making. You can see the film here:
It was a full house! Below me and Tom enjoying the free wine!
The title say’s it all, one of my favourite singer songwriters of all time and the first vinyl single I ever bought (Glory Days). Based on a previously done canvas piece I did a while a go, now available as a very limited run of screen prints. Enjoy!
This 3 colour hand pulled screen print measures 50cm x 50cm (approx) and is printed on 270gsm acid free art stock. Each print is signed & numbered and is strictly limited to an edition of only 50 so once they’re gone they’re gone.
So who does Batman call when the Tumbler breaks down? A little tribute to a great trilogy of Batman films by Christopher Nolan, enjoy!
This 2 colour hand pulled screen print measures 43cm x 34cm (approx) and is printed on acid free 315gsm Heritage art stock. Each print is signed & numbered and is strictly limited to an edition of 150 so as always once they’re gone they’re gone.
